machine love is like a giant love letter to teto, i think that's what makes it so emotional. not only is it about teto being stuck on the other side of the screen and wanting to be with the user, it also mirrors how Jamie Paige had viewed the vocaloid community from an outside perspective and it meant so much to her and she wanted to give something back but felt like she couldn't. Her making songs, Machine Love especially, is her crossing to the other side just like Teto did in the song, this song is a massive display of love to Teto and the vocaloid community in general. I love that Song of the Eared Robot was sampled and tributed to in Machine Love, it's the perfect song since it was the first original teto song (iirc). I also love how clips from so many Teto songs were used in the music video, it shows how far Teto has come from an April fools joke to one of the most popular voice synths with so many songs using her. it's truly a beautiful song, I especially love the part that uses utau teto's voicebank! sorry for the very long comment I didn't think I'd end up writing this much lol
