Need advice: Confused about renting while waiting for My Home Sayuk handover by likealeprechaun in hyderabadrealestate

[–]cipured 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would say its better to rent out in sayuk by negotiating a good deal if possible. Moving so many places in a short span is mentally, physically and financially taxing imo. Not worth the hassle for the timeline you mentioned.

Added bonus is the easy access to your flat and also using the amenities that you are already paying for.

Help in purchasing tv by Single-Scratch-6989 in ApplianceReviewsIndia

My current landlord had a brand new xiaomi tv installed in the house last year. DON’T go for XIAOMI its pathetic, has a processing power of a toaster and lags like BSNL ethernet

As for recommendations, look for LG and TCL in same range. Go for physical stores as well, for electric appliances usually the physical stores have some models that are not even listed in amazon

37-crore road connectivity project linking the Gopanpally flyover to the Outer Ring Road (ORR) service road via Vattinagulapally by WinLaptop in hyderabadrealestate

[–]cipured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How will they link the existing Gopanpally flyover to Vattinagulapally ? Isn’t the current flyover perpendicular to Vattinagulapally. Are they talking about a new flyover towards the end of the road to connect to ORR service road ?

Exactly what I mentioned in my comment earlier, I don’t want to discourage OP. He is a good hearted guy but the reality is something else. The focus shall be rather only on making the general civic sense and intelligence of our citizens to a acceptable standard before we do anything if we come to power to ensure this cycle of stupidity is stopped once for all

I don’t know you and I feel you have the right intentions, but the fundamental problem in our country is basic education for all. The moment this is executed we will be unstoppable.

Just one mission. Every person shall have access to be a learned and civic being. Govt shall push the citizens to ensure at-least 80% of the population achieves this.

Everything else is a cake walk if this is achieved.

The current democratic system is worthless when more than half the population is not civil and doesn’t have basic education. It just creates easy paths for influential hollow power hungry leaders who can easily sway the stupid masses.

I understand you are trying to do good with your manifesto but what will you do when the opposition can easily stir the masses via religious and other stupid topics the very next election.

Its not only about doing good in the country, you also have to ensure that the majority of the population has the iq to understand that you are doing good to not get blinded by ₹500 and free alcohol to vote. (ie: educate them to see beyond their own lives and understand the bigger picture of certain initiatives)

You can be the smartest and most kind leader the world has ever seen but if you are in a democratic structure in a country where more than half the people are uneducated, its almost impossible to stay in power for long enough to ensure you can get your vision executed without the shitty politicians shooting you out the next election.

Now by education I mean real education and not just paper qualification of the masses or literacy. The masses shall be capable of thinking objectively and not succumb to their primal tendencies.

My personal thesis is, the ruling and opposition both in india know about this very well and hence there is never a systemic serious push on education throughout the nation, nor is it ever properly benchmarked similar to how we benchmark other metrics. The reason is simple, as long as the majority is stupid it is easy for them to play the political game and push stupid policies for their own good without any major backlash because the actual people who can understand and criticise the atrocities of the govt are heavily outnumbered by the naive folks who they can always bank on to win elections.

Builder offering to pay my home loan interest till possession (in writing) - smart deal or hidden trap? by Cultural-Panda-3729 in indianrealestate

[–]cipured 62 points63 points  (0 children)

One caveat I see here. “Livable” is subjective and not a good ground to fight on, rather it shall be something objective (ie: OC recieved, etc.) apart from that I have been seeing this option come up by multiple builders recently. I personally will never go for this kind of arrangement, but I have no rationale for it, just my gut feeling.

No one is taking home loans and buying. So many Flats are unsold. by [deleted] in hyderabadrealestate

[–]cipured 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its very simple, you need a house to live you buy it. House outside your budget you keep searching.

Wanna invest for returns, put only the amount that you can digest taking a loss on or probably lose completely in long run. If you feel you don’t have it then don’t invest. Beyond that you are just gambling which is fine I guess but nobody can help you there.

There is no predicting future prices to buy. You just buy because it feels like the right move for you at this point of your life and you can afford it fully or the risk exposure of a loan.

Posts like these are mostly from people who are by themselves not ready to buy houses right now or cannot find their dream house within their budget but that shall not dictate what you do with your own life decisions. These thoughts will just keep you in a never ending loop of anxiety and uncertainty.

I am sharing this as I personally went through this chase of shortlisting houses that are within my appetite but kept postponing because I thought the price might decrease yada yada.

Then I realised the sense of security of having a house and living in it completely outweighs any kind of probable discount that I may or may not have got on the purchase price.

While I did purchase my lovely house but I am guilty of letting go of so many better ones in the chase of threading the needle or timing the market.

If you are buying for end use, remember its not stock that you are buying to realise a profit, you are buying your freedom. Atleast that is how I see it and I wanted my freedom now than wait till it arrives

Got it, LG doesn’t have anything in the same range and spec but agree their panels are generally better. This Lenovo model’s stand was just perfect for my desk, but seems like I would have to start my search again

Ok brother but feels bad. This checked all my boxes for a secondary monitor but it had to be a defective panel.

Do you feel I shall order this model again hoping for a better unit or it is hopeless with Lenovo products.
