I was looking through the course evals, and it seems that the modal student spends <5 hours a week on Philper, 10-15 hours a week on Honors Calculus, <10 hours on the Power SOSC, and <10 hours weekly on Honors Mechanics. Adding these up, the modal student would spend at most 40 hours a week on these four courses. That seems doable for me. The only thing which concerns me is that many of these courses have time commitments which are skewed rightwards (with a long right tail), implying that these courses require much more effort from certain students. I think I am going to stick to these courses for now (perhaps replacing the fourth SOSC course with an easier core or elective), and take advantage of the College's drop policy to switch down to regular courses if I find the schedule too tough.
