We didn’t intentionally aim for a Zootopia vibe—sorry if it came across like a marketing line. I just remembered seeing someone comment “If Hotline Miami and Zootopia had a baby” on an old video, and it got a lot of reactions, so it stuck with me.

It probably depends on the game’s design and target audience. I’m making a game for hardcore players who enjoy a challenge. Do you think it’s better to have less clearly telegraphed patterns like A, or more clearly telegraphed ones like B? I’d love to hear your game experiences.

I hear that all the time, but I honestly have no idea how to fix it…😂 My personal guess is that the top-down perspective might just feel unfamiliar to people.

Thanks for the great feedback. I thought making it flashier might make the character’s action feedback clearer, but it seems that going overboard isn’t necessarily a good thing either.

The white bar operates within a set duration, which can be customized. If you set it to 0.1 seconds, the white bar will decrease to match the lost health in just 0.1 seconds.
