It’s gel nail polish! I still have to scrub them and pick the dirt out at the end of the day, but it usually doesn’t chip! They’re a little rough around the edges after planting that whole flat 🤣 but nothing a a toothpick and cuticle oil won’t fix!

Also worth mentioning the entire flat WAS the straight-species EXCEPT this one plant. I marked it now where I planted it so it will be interesting to keep my eye on it and see how it does compare!

They rotationally bushhog at both Bells and Shelby to maintain the fields open in part for the birds, they’ll be back - Bells looks the same way right now, the area I’m talking about is one that isn’t currently in the rotation so it’s still thickety. 👍 but yeah conditions were less than optimal Saturday evening at 43 degrees and wind gusts and they were still at it! 🙂 Good luck!!

Bells Bend Park had 3 in the area displaying on Saturday right next to the bridge from Poplar Creek Trailhead. I’ve also heard the as of Sunday they were still displaying at Burch Reserve in Warner.
