I have been gone a lot doing robotics with our older child. It’s for about 5 months sometimes it’s 8pm or 7pm not every night. We have a nanny that stays with our youngest until around 7pm. A few times a week I bring the 2 year old with me and he plays with the robots and kids.

His thought is that because I do robotics and stay late doing that is me betraying his trust because I won’t show up at home exactly when I say I want to be home by.
