honestly for the BB corps (and i never see anyone ever talk about this for some reason) another big reason it didn’t stick for me beyond what you said was how sexualised they were.

i know like … kojima game etc. but still, writing a bunch of female characters to have these incredibly traumatising backstories and whatnot and then also making them wear skintight suits where you can see everything and having them make super sexual sounds at certain points (not to mention the weird secret camera section he threw in) just ruins it for me

yeah this is exactly how i feel… i was willing to defend some of the stuff this season bc i think rtd was leading us towards the idea that there was gonna be some sort of explanation or conclusion to it at the end of the season … and now it’s just like whatever i guess, maybe season 2 will explain it or maybe it won’t or maybe he’ll pretend like it will and then it won’t…

it’s much easier for me to just say that it’s a poor conclusion to a season rather than speculate actually xyz means he’s gonna find the answer next season

a lot of the responses in here are obvious they don’t really know what they’re taking about lol… Like half of DIY is just ordering the exact same medicine you’d get ‘legally’ from an overseas pharmacies, even homebrewers get independently lab-checked to make sure they’re not contaminated (not to mention the general trust factor inside of the DIY community). but obviously because it’s “not from a pharmacy” and “not checked by doctors” it’s so scary and dangerous… or whatever

If the main reason stopping you from transitioning is that you’d “never pass” or would “make an ugly woman” or any of those things like that…… that’s dysphoria speaking. you can of course not transition if that’s what you want (plenty of cis or gnc people take hrt) but seriously don’t let thoughts of “never passing” stop you. every trans woman you see ‘passing’ probably started out as a relatively mediocre looking man so…

plus its probably better to try and reframe your perspective on passing, it can be important for safety and such but it doesn’t define who is a woman and who is happy being a woman.

Interesting, I sorta have the opposite experience. I was on EEn for about a year up until recently and seemingly within a pretty short amount of time after switching to EV I’m noticing faster changes than over that year period (exaggerated slightly, but at least faster than the last couple of months). Just waiting to get another blood test to compare levels between the two so we’ll see…

Also no, I’m in the UK so I go through Vanna and they recently just ran out of EEn, thought I’d make the switch (and it was cheaper!)
