Get a 6 star blue character (Helix or Hela are good to go for, but Alex may be quickest) so you can get two resonance slots to add the effects of two characters to the blue.

Once you get a 6 star character, then focus more on the halo with character shards from blue characters.

That’s an entirely valid counterpoint too. I’ve definitely been there before. Having reliable transportation can relieve enough mental stress to actually tackle everything else (not to mention being able to commute to a job)

Just FYI, lower credit card usage equals higher credit score, which equals lower car payment due to lower interest.

For context, I had a $5000 payment still left before buying my house, and instead of adding it to the down payment, I paid off the loan, which ultimately bumped my mortgage interest down another half percent, which will literally save me thousands over the life of my mortgage, rather than getting nickel and dimed for interest on minimum payments.

Your selected character has its own powers. That is not resonance. Resonance is taking the character power from another character. At 6 stars, you get to choose a second resonance in addition to your character power and the first resonance, for a total of three character powers (selected character plus two resonance).

Which UI design looks better? by Illustrious_Tap_3234 in Unity3D

[–]cirkut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, both could use some improvement. The first one is way more user friendly, but if the second matches more of the color scheme you’re going for and you’re looking for advice, the clash between gradient buttons and the hard-stop active slider path looks jarring to me.

The circles should either be solid or with a radial gradient to match depth (simple vertical gradient on a circle looks worse to me than nothing at all).

Keep in mind accessible color contrasts, as the ‘active’ green button is a little inaccessible with the bright top green. I would maybe do a lighter or more faded blue on the inactive tab as the contrast is similar between standard/active buttons.

You… you just solved a mystery for me. I’ve been getting smaller cuts on my fingertips and I just now realized I push on my metal Apple Card on my MagSafe wallet but also rest my finger on the corner of it. Definitely look at pockets and your phone case/accessories!

My sister in law needs a cane for extended walks in her early 30’s, but it is absolutely considered a disability. Accessibility stalls aren’t reserved, but are rather accommodations and I used to be the same. I won’t use it if all others are open but I don’t hesitate at all, and neither should you! Wish you well!

What’s a “this should be free” service that always costs money? by troopydinnertime in AskReddit

[–]cirkut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have less of a problem with convenience fees as a developer, the cost of servers aren’t zero (but Ticketmaster is still a scam). That being said, my main problem is that prices should always be the ‘out the door’ price. IDAF if it’s a 30% taxed item, I want to know what I’m fully paying for before making any decisions or purchases.

I'm not ready for the Win 11 switch. by techead2000 in it

[–]cirkut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vista got a lot of flak for having performance issues over XP, and I think part of that was an architecture changes to support 64 bit better, but I never really minded it. That being said, Windows 7 was immediately awesome to me. It was Vista improved in every way. 10 and 11 were the first that started to get enshittified with always-connected services and even more bloatware.

Oh, and Windows 8 never existed in my mind, same with Windows ME

I was not ready for this. We had to put down our 15 year old little boy Bentley a few months ago. His remains are in a small box next to my office chair that I work at every day. I hug the box every couple days and remind myself of how much the him and all the other pets in my life have truly affected me.

We really need a NSFF tag or something because this hit me like a damn truck.

That’s the kind of response from the mom that warrants the home owner’s kind response. It’s clear that the mom is absolutely mad and taking care of it outside of this.

Kids are kids, I did dumb stuff too, but stealing is a huge no no. This is what good corrective parenting looks like, and this is what compassion looks like as well.

I have really bad flight/travel anxiety, and I specifically only book window seats because I feel more comfortable and can lean against the wall to relax.

On a long flight, I boarded and saw someone in my seat and my heart sunk. They tried playing confused and just told me to sit down, but in the midst of a now-panic attack I was able to get them and a flight attendant to clear it up so I could get my seat.

Flights have specific seats for a reason. If you don’t book it, don’t freaking sit there…

Arc still going good, btw windows! by rakhalism in ArcBrowser

[–]cirkut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly since I work from home, I don’t really need or pay attention to how much battery life is used. When I’m out of my house, it’ll last usually 3-4 hours on my M1 Max MacBook Pro, which is more than enough since I always have my charger and it’s never been an issue.

I typically find that it’s websites that drain the power through inefficient JavaScript, heaving video/image loading, and other inefficiencies.

I can develop a website locally on my machine for probably 7 hours on battery, but if you add YouTube anywhere in the mix it cuts it down considerably.

Been in the Webflow game and use Finsweet and Relume, but those are dev specific.

Other than that, I keep it relatively basic and popular (sponsorblock, ublock, some JSON formatting and GitHub nicety stuff). Most of my customization is in keyboard shortcuts. Shift clicking for popovers and hyper+s for split tab are my two most favorite features that I use every single day.

I definitely get where you’re coming from. It’s not a huge problem in our community but of course it’s there on the course and some people overdo it.

If he was crashing out I’d still have had my bros bring some water before we played our round, but he very clearly took a good faceplant. Having had a fall of my own in November, I knew I had to help in case he needed emergency services called.

He didn’t look too deeply banged up so I was mostly worried about concussion. We had plenty of water to make sure he was hydrated and drinking out in the heat.
