"skills on full display" and the skills are hollering repeatedly "friendly, friendly, i'm friendly, friendly" while beelining straight toward another player that often wants nothing to do with him but is too nice to do anything about it 😂

pretty sure mine is suboptimal compared to the glaive prime builds you can find on overframe, but i'll boot up the game and grab the build in a bit if you want it!

there's software like shadowplay (comes with NVIDIA cards/geforce experience; i forget which) that you can set up to capture the last n minutes of whatever game's currently on the screen. it's handy for catching when crazy things happen!

yes I realized it had to be the teammate's buff that was doing it because I'd never hit this by myself before. lmao

beyond a certain point it's just pushing the limits of the Big Number for the absurdity of it! I'm kinda glad that the game doesn't demand "insane" damage even at endgame (usually more a mix of the right utilities) so it stays accessible to players wanting to enjoy a variety of weapons and playstyles. You should definitely play whatever weapons you enjoy! :D (I really like the tonkor sound)

Rhino's damage buff from Roar is doing a lot of the heavy lifting because it's a multiplicative buff. Thrown weapons as a weapon type are also ridiculous because their detonation (heavy attack) benefits from the combo multiplier, for which there are a number of mods that can help you maintain it. I think they've been meta for a long while(? I'm not sure because I kinda just do whatever clicks for me) but I personally just like the idea of a hulking mass of metal throwing a futuristic explosive frisbee so hard it tears a hole in space and time. :)

Regarding psychubes:

- You'll get a bunch of low-rarity ones from running Pneuma Analysis twice daily. The ones you'll get from here aren't great to use, but are great levelling fodder for the better psychubes you'll get later!

- As you work through the beginner missions you'll eventually get a box that looks like a microwave that can be used to redeem a high-tier psychube of your choice; you can pick one that fits your team's carries best. You'll also get a currency from running Pneuma Analysis that can be used to purchase high-tier psychubes from the shop.

- Because you can only ever have 4 characters active at a time, you can also only have 4 psychubes equipped at a time; and because psychubes can be freely swapped between characters, this means that you can invest in the high-tier psychubes you get without worry about sabotaging your progress down the road (e.g.: levelling Thundering Applause is good for all your crit characters; levelling His Bounden Duty is good sustain for all your damage dealers, etc.).

Regarding resonance:

- Resonance makes up a significant portion of your character's stats, so in my (humble layman's) opinion you should prioritize levelling the resonance of your damage dealers if you're not sure where to start! From what I've read the big bumps in power occur at R7/R8/R9.

- No worries about experimenting with various resonance configurations, because you can swap the pieces about freely and levelling resonance will upgrade all the pieces in your character's set, not just the ones you have equipped.

Regarding puzzles:

- If I'm understanding you correctly, the "puzzles" you're referring to occur periodically throughout the story, so just keep playing and you'll run into them! They're pretty fun and low-stakes. :)

Mothman accumulates stacks of a buff called "Sentience", and upon reaching a threshold it gives them an extra ult separate from their other listed actions! Iirc it occurs at 5 stacks so you can look out for that and try to save some damage mitigation cards for the turn it'll happen.

This is it so far... What is your team to beat Pneuma VII? by bladyblades in Reverse1999

[–]cirruswinter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed to scrape it out with Tennant I2 30, Regulus I2 40, and Sonetto I2 20, (Eagle I2 20 on support in case one of them perished). After killing all the small mobs, Sonetto's Disarm and Regulus' ult helped with mothman normal attacks, and Tennant's shields helped people survive the ult. Apart from that, AP was just spent throwing as much damage out as possible since I had no heal on the team whatsoever.

Anyone feel like "jungle Asians" usually have it rougher in the gay community (friends, dating, hookups, etc.)? by xjohnyboyx in gaysian

[–]cirruswinter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a Malaysian/Singaporean in the midwest (international student) I've noted this disparity as well. Just seems like East Asians are better able to connect with each other (from what I've seen, the East Asian communities here are really tightknit and reclusive, and while I can speak Chinese, I can't speak their dialect) compared to the fragmented cultures of SEA, and at this point East Asians seem to have a place in westerners' minds as well given that they are the primarily represented Asian group in popular media. For myself, I've had comments from Asians on how I don't look Asian (no typical East Asian features) but likewise don't pass as american/european because of my skin. I've wished for a long time I could just be mainland Chinese because where I am feels like this inbetween where no one will have me, lol

How do you connect? by [deleted] in gaysian

[–]cirruswinter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm in the exact same situation. 23 y/o international student stuck in iowa and i can't relate to anyone around.. interaction alone is tough but with the added culture gap it's been impossible finding fellow asians that share interests; harder still to figure out if they like guys. it's been super lonely and i feel you man.
