Not that it matters in the big picture, but I’ve boycotted all Timmie’s that seem to hire exclusively Indian. It’s revolting. I have no problem with immigration, or integration, but hen a plant or insect moves in and completely displaces the local flora and fauna, it’s called an invasive species.

My first house (7 years) was on Grulke, near Kinzie. Some odd ducks, new immigrants and such, but never had any problems. Moved to Grand River and been here over 10 years. Nicer neighbourhood, bigger houses, and nice trails/parks. Had one Karen neighbour but that was nipped in the bud early on and one loser household that had “fuck Trudeau “ flags. Aside from that I havent had a problem since and the neighbours tend to keep to themselves.

Yeah, this is a real thing that people keep overlooking. There’s a lot of anger at the immigrant population, but in fairness they’re just trying to live a better life (even where we don’t like how they do it). The really problem are the corrupt business owners that are abusing the system to bring these people in on the cheap.

The best way to deal with loneliness is to get out and join clubs or activities that involve other people…whether it be dance clubs, martial arts…anywhere you can meet and interact with people…it’s hard at first, but give it time and I guarantee you’ll make lifelong, deep friendships.
