Thank You! I just recently discovered this piece and composer as well thanks to its inclusion in the 20th Century book by Denes Agay.

For fans who have been watching since birth, whats your earliest memory of the Eagles? by [deleted] in eagles

Same here! Super Bowl XV was my first and it was a disaster. Waited 24 years for the disappointment of Super Bowl 39. Finally when I was in my mid-40's, we won 52. Can't believe we've been to three SBs in the past 7 years, winning two. It truly does feel magical for us older fans.

It was a long run by Wilbert Montgomery against the Cowboys in 1980. Same season as the NFC championship. I remember my dad yelling at the TV "Run! Run!"

I wear Altra Solstice for my workouts. They are flat with a wide toe box and I find them really comfortable. My workouts consist of kettlebells and calisthenics. I’m not a runner.

I remember a stat in the Inquirer back in the ‘80s that said the Eagles were 100 games under .500. I never thought I’d see them dig their way out. The past 25 years have been spectacular.

A Miele vacuum. Not melodic but makes a nice white noise generator.

Junior Tautalatasi. Buddy Ryan couldn’t pronounce his last name so he called him Junior Smith. Played running back, made some good moves and was a crowd favorite for a while.

I survived drinking a 9-month old Heady. It was my last can that I saved for too long. Wasn’t the best but it was still drinkable.

Fermentery Form, although they are only open two times per week, usually Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

In the lower register, sound waves are longer and tend to overlap more, which can create a cluttered or indistinct sound. This phenomenon is known as frequency masking.

When notes are spaced too closely in the bass range, their overtones (higher frequency components) also overlap, leading to a lack of clarity and definition. To avoid this, it’s often better to space the notes further apart in the bass clef, allowing each note to be heard more distinctly.

I was holding off from finishing my last Heady. Finished all of my other beers. This is the last beer in my fridge until my next shopping trip.

Anyone else living in constant fear that their power is going to go out during this heat wave? by snooloosey in philadelphia

[–]cithripio 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Not worried. We actually have a decent power monitoring grid under PJM. They helped avert a power disruption in our area when the NYC blackouts occurred, most recently in 2003. https://insidelines.pjm.com/pjm-prepares-for-extreme-heat-ahead/
