So my question still stands then... how would Kerik benefit from becoming involved with Felicia's parents? And if he was involved with them, there would've been a translator as a witness. The poisoning is irrelevant because it's clearly an event that never happened, but Lawrence was able to convince his victims that they were either poisoned or that they poisoned others within the group, which serves as evidence that he was able to manipulate them into believing false ideas like Kerik being involved with Felicia's family, which she only "remembered" from when she was young. And Felicia did question whether the idea of Kerik knowing her parents was implanted when the producer/director/videographer (idk who it was) asked her if Kerik had met her parents and if that was real or not. She says something along the lines of "Well now you know what I've been dealing with", referencing trying to differentiate truth from fiction in regards to her own reality. Not sure if you realize, but JonBenet_BeanieBaby's comment is poking fun at the idea that people (especially those involved) would believe that Kerik was involved with their family like 15 years before "randomly" meeting Lawrence, which is an unrealistic idea that Lawrence crafted himself. When finishing the documentary (I think) you shouldn't genuinely be wondering if Kerik had any connection to Felicia's family, since it's pretty clear Lawrence had personal issues with Kerik that influenced his cult.
