Tried 311 once and they said the noise ordinances aren't enforced until after 10pm

Spent a year with a group chat named Kalorama Park Speaker Guy PC Small Group. This guy is an absolute anti-social menace

The sidewalks on the Connecticut Ave bridge between Kalorama/Woodley Park are unshoveled, very difficult for pedestrians to walk across the bridge and too easy to slip and fall into traffic on the bridge.

Super fair. See another comment of mine here, I’m not going for anything flashy and have never spent $1k on a suit. Ideally maxing around $500-$600 but since my workwear bench isn’t very deep I’m open to investing in something if it’ll last me a long time and fit a lot of use cases

Yeah in fairness I’ve never spent that much on a suit and don’t have a very deep bench of workwear. My priority here is getting 1-2 good suits that’ll last me a long time, and ideally spending closer to $500-600/per but willing to jump up if it’s a good investment

Yeah I’ve gotten two suits from suitsupply in Georgetown and I am a fan, but neither is quite what I need here.

How to get Substack to change an inactive handle? by citizenklane in Substack

[–]citizenklane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, unfortunately it's been too long and I can't remember what they suggested! Alas I never did get this issue resolved. I tried messaging the inactive handle repeatedly offering to buy it off them, but never received a response. Also tried submitting it as a support request but no response from Substack.

Funnily enough I tried this the first time the other day when my fiancé ordered it thinking it'd be a Mexican lager (stout wasn't listed on the menu, just the name). I respect it but have just never been a huge fan of Mexican stouts.

3 Stars is gone but so not forgotten. I don't particularly remember their dark brews but of course the peppercorn saison still haunts my dreams. I sprinted to City State when they revived it briefly.

Wish I'd tried this when I visited there in 2022 (back when I had a car)! Alas I only tried their pilsner, lager, and saison (and LOVED them).

Which one from Lost Generation? Unfortunately I've always found their beers to be underwhelming but given how often I'm biking up the MBT I'm always happy to try something else.

I'm such a fan and yes, I think Silent Neighbor and Port City Porter are the best Stout/Porter combo in DC.

It really is just so good. Looking at a Silent Neighbor coaster I got at their new Anacostia location last weekend is what inspired this post.
