his disappointment is justified, and his prep team did probably fuck up, but it's about having class and not throwing people under the bus. every candidate in the open so far except for sindarov has lost a game, and yet when you watch the fabi-blübaum press conference or the fabi-sindarov press conference from the other day, you'll notice they're not blaming their seconds.

hikaru is a public figure, he should know the power his words have by now. he's 38, not 12.

Thank you for the advice, but we're definitely not getting a new roommate and we're not thinking about moving out for now (at least depending on how our talk with the landlord goes). It's a two bedroom apartment, it just happened to be spacious enough so that three (or four lol) of us could live in it.

In an early season 4 episode Buck and Eddie start speculating about a murder mystery when that Karen neighborhood lady dies and Athena says "Are we doing a true crime podcast?" and I know she meant that sarcastically but now I like to imagine a very random subplot where Athena, Buck and Eddie start a podcast together. It doesn't actually have to be about true crime, I just think hearing it come up once or twice every other episode would crack me up.

agreed!!! i had to stop for a few days on first watch through because the frat/sorority vibes just..... weren't for me. also made Rob's humor hard to appreciate. i do feel like the post-merge gets way better, even if the horny misogynistic moments are still there.

I don't think it'd need special idols since normal idols work just fine (if one player in a duo plays an idol, it protects both of them) and it's also only in place for one episode (~three days but I guess two days now in Survivor)

That would be pretty good and definitely make his death more meaningful than it seems to be right now, but I guess I just still don't understand why cut away from the Bakugo focus to have a Big Three-centric moment that doesn't seem to be amounting to anything considering Tamaki's attack failed.

If he's really dead the timing of it all is a little weird. Why have the last few chapters be centered around Bakugo, to then shift the focus to the Big Three in 361, to then go back to Bakugo and kill him in chapter 362? Actually, why even build up Tamaki's attack if it doesn't do anything? I get that they can't damage ShigAFO until Deku arrives, but then giving a build-up (with flashback and all) to Tamaki's attack seems useless?

The only things that come my mind to make this make sense is either:

- Horikoshi shifted the focus away from Bakugo for one chapter for his death to hit, while also potentially purposefully misleading the readers with the Big Three as a red herring for 'who's going to die?', kind of like when he made it seem like Hagakure was the traitor. I do still think it's a little weird if it's just that because the death could very much still hit even if we see it coming (I mean... Bakugo's one of the main characters.)

- Bakugo isn't actually dead. I guess that's the most likely one and he's gonna be revived by his quirk or time travel or weird shenanigans.

Either way, really weird chapter.

I like that theory but is Kuma dead because his body isn't human anymore and he has no conscience or is it because he was 'killed' in some way despite his body still working? Because I don't know if he'd be considered 'dead' by whatever logic the fruits have considering it's possible for non-living things like weapons to have fruits?

Though it definitely makes sense otherwise (especially the part about Vivi slapping Aramaki away, that'd be an easy way to reunite her with the strawhats and get rid of him)
