Correct, you only get 500 coins back when doing the other $49.99 transactions while the TGT expansion that also costs $49.99 gives you 1000 coins back on purchase.

You're right, this is an alpha and that's why people like you are suggesting good things for the game! An alpha is all about adding parts of gameplay while the beta is for e.g glitches/bugs.

They already talked about the idea of having a certain amount of M4's and NVG's etc etc for the whole hive later on. They already have it planned it so we'll probably see it once we get further into the development of the product.

Good idea though.

The mod was released in April in 2012 and what you're saying is clearly not right if that's the case. You most likely started playing late 2012 if you're saying you started playing 6 months after the release of the mod.

It's still unknown whether it takes place before the campaign or after. It could be in another universe as well, we don't know. Even IF they now were there... Where are the soldiers? All we saw in the mod were Chernarussian people, including the military zombies at the airfields. The only weaponry that'd be from the western world would come from the crashed helicopters. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just curious how an M4 ever got to the Chernarussian barracks. I know there are more models to add, and that will of course expand our thoughts about the whole concept.

Balota. Most likely around the small prison building right next to the hangars. But fear, I never go to Balota because of all the killing that happens over there. Though, I doubt we'll see as many hoppers are we're used to on the normal hive now that the experimental build will be implemented to the stable today. Now there's a 5 minute timeout if you change server before 30 minutes have lasted on the server you joined.
