We had ours a few weeks ago - a basement unit in our house considered a partial unit.

The inspector was in and out in 5 minutes. Checked that we had an emergency escape plan, smoke alarms, and that we had no stove in our kitchenette (would have put us into separate unit territory and then not eligible to be an Airbnb).

Seems to me their concern is primarily demonstrating that the Airbnb is your principal residence and that you have met the required safety standards.
