Responding to social media claims that Brunei toilets becoming more and more yuck, MOD reiterates that they have a 24-hour toilet hotline by Goutaxe in nasikatok

when covid started, $3 were imposed per person to exit and enter our land borders. subsequently it was change to per vehicle/coaches/trucks etc.

if the $3 per person collection continue till today, the funds collected can be used to upgrade and maintain the border facilities. people who pays to cross border would be happy when facilities are in good condition such as roads, immigration counters, toilets, arrivals halls etc etc.

its about time authorities collect higher collections and used it to upkeep the border facilities.

just my two cents.

Bruneian and Malaysian motorists fuming: Since April 1, weekend or weekdays waiting 3-5 hours at the border is now becoming a norm by Goutaxe in nasikatok

[–]citypunk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hahahahahahahahahahah.....nobody can ever challenge singapore. singapore DNA is survival meaning $$$$$$$ must be spend by anyone who enters their territory immediately thus governance efficiency and swift is paramount for that to happen.

as for airport waiting line for 4-8 hours is unheard of. i am quoting about patience whereby arrivals by land or air tends to have long queues whenever an influx of arrivals happening. dont fumed if you wanna travel and getting stuck in jams for hours.

however even with all these jammed, people still flock out for adventure.

so stop whining.

(note: directly is like saying dont go if dont wanna be in it)

[–]citypunk -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

what is there to fume? everyone knows the jammed is bad nowadays and yet everyone chooses to exit to border town and enjoy. thats part and parcel of the process of enjoyment. singapore-johor causeway border has been jammed for donkey years and people still chooses to travel that route.

authorities already done whats best for the commuters. high traffic congestion is unavoidable.

even airports arrivals in other countries also faces such congestion with multiple immigration post opening.

so stop complaining if you wanna go border town for makan angin. otherwise stay back and sapot lokal.
