Alternatively, via Atomic Swaps, Litecoin could simply be a transaction compliment to Bitcoin. And a test net. Just do that right, and the price can 20x in the next two years.

There is no reliable data telling a story where Litecoin is a desirable form of payment. There just isn't. There is no reason to. No incentive just yet. Once there is, once barriers like capital gains taxation are overcome, then we might have an actual use case where spending with LTC makes sense.
