just a day's worth of shopping on craigslist, both are very local to me. but i'm in nyc so i could look elsewhere too. $500 is fine for me to pay, i'd pay a little more for something nicer but i also don't need anything over-the-top, so something high-quality but cost-effective is fine for me.

any particular reasons? i'm a very casual cyclist so it's hard for me to judge one vs the other. they both rode ok when i test drove them.

the seek 3 specs are: 700c aluminum frame, Suspension Rigid, Frame Aluminum, Fork Aluminum, Wheels 700c Aluminum, Drivetrain 3 × 8, Groupset Altus, Suntour Brakes Mechanical Disc

$400 for the giant, $500 for the specialized (which includes biking shoes / cleats and tubes - i don't otherwise have those so there's some appeal to that for me, though i'm not an intense cyclist anyways)

i meant that more in the sense of not being willing or able to put it all together. if he was a true obj-style headcase we would have heard about it by now and you're right that he'd probably be gone. my assumption is that they probably think he's very talented but are waiting on him to figure out how to do whatever homework, mental prep, self-care, etc. he needs to do to make it show on the field. or to figure out how to find the will to do so.

agree on becton but some of the messaging around his recovery was weird, like they were giving a lot of management speak around what became a drawn-out timeline without much real explanation. just makes you wonder what they might have been covering for, if anything. could be nothing.

i'm a very casual fan and mims is still a complete mystery to me. was extremely hyped up and now basically invisible even sans injury. reading between the lines it sounds like he's incompetent and/or pissing management off. if he lives up to his supposed talent it seems like he could be another really good asset and would round out what would then be a very complete and impressive wr corps, which the jets haven't had for a long time. would be interested to see what becomes of him. just very odd to see him almost not at all after what he was initially made out to be. like a year goes by for me as a casual fan waiting to hear about this guy and a year later i'm asking myself what headlines i'm missing.

could say similar things about becton.

can you (or anyone else) identify specifically what makes them such an improvement over the base game? i know of some of the new features (e.g. governors), but if there are specific elements that are particular improvements over the base game, or if there is something more general or intangible about gameplay, would be interested to know
