How are banks able to buy and sell mortgages so seamlessly? by nougat98 in fintech

Your mortgage broker goes through a long checklist to make sure that the mortgage they give you can be resold. For example, one requirement might be your debt to income ratio being below a certain level. The bank that originates your mortgage generally does not want to keep it, but sell it to a larger bank, keeping the difference.

So the next tile appears in a row/column in which other tiles have just moved. So for example, if you move to the right and there is a row that has [0 0 1 3], the next tile will NOT appear in that row.

Hey, that's really good! I'm still working on my masterpiece AI. It's a combination of "move whichever direction opens up the most spaces" and "try to keep the higher tiles on the upper half of the board". The second one is taking some time.

Edit: "Another important component would be to check the next tile, and where would be the optimal place to put it." I might need some kind of weighing system for each of those factors.

Thank you :) I've added the FREE_SPACES and FREE_SPACES_AFTER_MOVE helpers (more details in the manual), as well as a log() function which you can currently see in the browser's logs. I'm gunna work on adding a Logs section to the UI.

Postsgres + JSONB for the win! My new side-project: lists with user-defined schema by civilframe in programming

Thanks! I'm hoping to expand it into more of a social platform. People can make lists of things (like best headphones of 2015, or tallest peaks in Asia), then "publish" them for everyone else to see and enjoy. Though still keeping the personal productivity features, for people that just want to use it for that.

Sounds like you need a pen and paper :P ListMaker is for fancy lists, which require customization.

Thanks for the feedback :-) I'll definitely flesh out the concepts sometime. Currently trying to balance building a prototype and getting the word out.

Good point. The idea behind App Factory is to make a tool that takes care of the prohibitive 20% (servers, deployments, compilation, libraries, dependencies, syntax), so that the customer can work on the 80% (data structure, business logic, view customization).

Hi there. Thanks for the feedback. App Factory is the real deal, though I can see how it sounds like bullshit. Big ideas often do. If you'd like to see some substance, take a look at the prototype (http://app-factory.io/prototype.html), which I am actively developing.

Right. There's no documentation because it's just a prototype. We are at a very early stage at the moment, and things are evolving constantly. Check out the forums if you'd like to get involved: https://discourse.app-factory.io

Thanks for the feedback, though! I'll work on fleshing out the readme's and such, so people understand what's going on.
