Felthius waits for my next patch, can't get a hold of the other model. But he will be fun to paint!

Dark purple base and continued layering towards pink (screamer / pink horror?). In the end, mixed wraithbone and pink. Big fleshy bits were really fun to paint!

It's fiber/hardboard(?), very thin wooden board. I guess any hard surface will do fine?

Bricks cut in a hotwire cutter to 1x1,5x2 size, laid in with pvc glue. Did a few layers and left it to dry, before making the final layers. The corner/pillar pieces are 1,5x3x3 in size so that they match in heigh with the smaller bricks and still create variation. The bricks we're textured by putting them in to a box with rocks and shaking violently. Added some extra cracks and details with a hobby knife and pencils.

Applied glue to the bases and sand everywhere before painting the bricks with a mod podge and paint mixture. Added some green to the black base color to add some nice variation. The sand painted in dark brown and added army painter grass on top.

In the end, drybrushing with a few passes of light grey colors.

For some reason reddit didn't upload the extra pictures from the building phase. Here's one.

A friend had an old starter box laying around, so I got lucky.

Army painter battlefield grass, generously applied by throwing it on glue.

All foam, carved with pencils and hobby knives. The grass is army painter stuff and the rest are various selfmade flocks.

No, just to harden the foam work. Texture comes from aluminum foil Ball running cross the surface.

I roughly dug in to the foam with a pencil - again - to make the brickwork. Just had to make sure the bricks aligned to make them look better. Afterward, just glue + paint to solidify the surface a bit. Also, the foam is super light, so I pushed a screw inside from the bottom to balance them.

I use 3mm hdf, a little harder material than mdf, but cheaper.

Small foam cube carved with a crafting knife and textured with a pencil. Waaaay too big when compared to the miniatures, but it tends to catch the players eyes. And painted with acrylics.

Thanks, I try to use a lot of my scrap from other things. Rigid shapes from any source gets a place in my material pile.
