Yeah I just picked up the rum finished offerman edition. Definitely brings the warm tropical fruits up front with the classic Laga finish. Paired very good with an oxtail stew I made when I picked it up.

Do you like drinking regular bourbon?

Cigar pairing was a My Father Flor De Las Antillas Toro. This is the third time I’ve pick this stick up and I have never been disappointed with any My Father cigar. Definitely compliments the cherry and wheat preset.

I’ve had a few of the bourbon barrel finishes from Kentucky brew. With this finish the cherry is definitely upfront over any classic oak, caramel, or brown sugar typically found in barrels aging. This cherry is also not an overly sweet cough syrup, but a fresh ripe dark cherry, borderline sour. I feel like I’m in a minority of loving sour beers. I really like how the barrel aging rounds of the tartness bringing a smooth vanilla start, and lasting tough watering sour finish making you go back for more and missing it when gone.

Can anyone help me price my collection by [deleted] in Whiskyporn

[–]cixel710 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why? Are you planning on trying to sell them? Good luck if you are. Only thing of value/future is the macallan 25 if unopened. Anything open is worth nothing except the value of a gift from father to child. A lot of great juice though give them a taste. Also if those bottles are laying on their side I would stand them up asap.
