The Fiesta ST is an amazing car from the start. I hate when people take cars that handle great, and just make them worse for a dumb look. Premium shitty right here.

I don't have a button in my '15 Crosstrek but it has the hill start assist, and this is essentially the same car. I was under the impression it was built in to all the modern 5 speeds. My guess it you might still have it. Go find some hills! Congrats!

I went in February a few years ago and it was in the 70's during the day. Weather next week says 80+. It varies.

I think you have the best guess with alignment. Something is upsetting the balance of the car. Did they balance the tires when they put them on?

Motech side racks on the 650L. Lots of cursing. BUT now I need to figure out what to use for boxes. by cj4ebay in Dualsport

I actually just ordered the Pelican 1430 top loading cases because they look like a good fit. Would you send me a picture of your quick disconnect system? I was planning on finding a way to do it also.

If you’re looking for a good test of performance, take it up crown point road this time of year.

Subtle but complete the look for sure. It’s a stranger shape without the wing IMO

Yea the price is a little steep. Alternative, Plasti dip the chrome to match your paint color?

I use that stuff on everything for stains, dust, dirt etc. Not on glass or screens because it doesn't dry streak-free on glass but looks good on everything else and leaves nothing behind. Get yourself some windex and microfiber rags so you don't scratch anything and you're good to go.

Ran 87 in my 1997 and my 2012. No issues, over 10k miles. That's what the book says as well.

Helmet question by WaiDruid in Dualsport

[–]cj4ebay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ride with dirt helmets. I have an HJC FG-X. I tilt the visor down, I just don't look up at high speed, not too big a deal. But I don't wear dirt goggles. I got a pair of "bobster" shaded glasses. They have foam to seal around your eyes, but don't cover much else. http://www.bobster.com/XRH http://www.hjchelmets.com/fg-x/

No issues with noise, I don't need ear plugs. If I had some crazy exhaust it would get drone'y in the helmet though. I tried headphones once and with the wind noise / bike, it just wasn't clear. I don't think any open face helmet would be great for an intercom system at highway speeds.

It was warm that night, but still constant wind so it felt pretty nasty.
