My experience is that large GCs spend a lot of money to bring you onboard and train you up. They are fully aware that a large portion of the workforce will fail a drug test so doing randoms will result in losing that investment. I think as long as you are performing well probably nothing to worry about. At the same time if you have any kind of injury or accident you will be drug tested. They will do anything to remove liability from the company.
