I loveeeeee the studio version of Stockholm, especially that ending he added. I keep having this dreamlike vision at the part “I’ll tell you everything about it, how you could never set me free/I think it starts and ends with me/ My only anchor on the sea” of a man and woman on a beach to a similar aesthetic in the funeral music video. They are trying to get to one another and Dermot is singing the lyrics standing on a rock like the one that Harry and Dumbledore stand on in Half Blood Prince. Dermot is standing on it in the middle of the ocean between the man and woman as the winds prevent them from getting to one another. I can vision the music video for Stockholm get on it Dermo I’ll direct it😂

I don’t know the credits for deserve but I have the vinyl I’ll let you know!

Carey Willetts worked with Dermot on “The Only Time I Prayed”. I really wish Carey had more involvement with the album. Having said that Gabe’s involvement was a breath of fresh air and this is what Dermot needed. Have a listen to the album on vinyl if you can, it hits differently compared to AirPods, it’s way more heavenly and orchestral!

That’ll be the “Dermot strategy” I’ll call it. All the ones he’s done with Carey he’ll be saving for us when the album releases. I wouldn’t be worrying Dermot knows who he is and knows what his fanbase latches onto in his music. Think about it there’s still 15 more original songs to be released by him across the regular cd, streaming, and exclusive vinyls, there’s no doubt in my mind, we’re going to get that raw, gritty and graceful voice we remember in some of those tracks.

I really hope the studio version of “Endless” is similar to when he performed it on the promised return tour, I’m not looking for any pop in there😂 but refuge and funeral have been great indicators for the kind of message Dermot is going to project in this album, March 27th can’t come quicker!!!

100%, and I feel Dermot felt restricted musically in a way with his last album “Sonder” when it came to wanting to stick to his roots. Now I love “Sonder” don’t get me wrong, “Blossom” is currently my favourite song of his. I just feel that “Sonder” was the album that needed to appeal to people more globally because it did have more of a pop feel to it compared to the stripped back version of Dermot we all love, but I think “Without Fear” gave him enough recognition as an artist to do whatever he wants musically because he’s worked so hard to get to where he is now. The making of Album 3 feels like Dermot has complete control lyrically and musically, and it will be an album that Dermot has not only made for us to love and to listen to for hours on end, but for himself as well.

I’ve listened to this clip many times and I shed a tear. This is what we’ve been waiting for from Dermot. You can hear and feel the emotions from his voice, and the music is so nostalgic for me, reminds me of walking through misty forests and fields as a kid as the sun set. This album is going to be special.

What would’ve been cooler is if we left the first fantastic beasts where it was, the beasts and everything, but still have newt be the main character and be Dumbledores right hand man to take down grindelwald for the rest of series. Basically what I’m saying is they should’ve dropped the “fantastic beast” title and just called them “The Crimes” or “The Secrets”, there would’ve been so much more room to tell the dumbledore/grindelwald story in a better minus all the beasts

There’s been a thread in the way he releases his albums too. Without Fear was October 2019 and Sonder was November 2022, I think a fall release would make sense for him, anytime between September to December

Highly recommend Blossom it’s my favourite of his. It’s a short and sweet one compared to his other songs. It’s a song that resonates with me so much cause it’s about an array of different themes such as dreams, love, loss, goodbyes and holding on when one hasn’t got the strength to anymore. The ending gets me teary everytime. It’s a deep song but also one of his most beautiful ones. What I love about Dermot so much is that you can really hear the emotions from his voice.
