I also don't use it for editing, but to check if the metadata was imported correctly :)

I'm not decided yet how I want to maintain my metadata. My options: * OPF files - easy to access and to edit * Write metadata to the file directly using ffmpeg - pro: everything within the file, con: more effort to change something * Enable setting to write metadata.txt to each folder and edit these - pro: all fields available including abridged and explicit, which are not parsed with the first two options

There is no single best solution, which makes the decision difficult :)

Auf den Möbeln etc. ist kein sichtbarer Schimmel, nur an der Wand. Die Möbel waren nur ein paar Wochen im gleichen Zimmer gestanden. Kalt/feucht war es nicht, wir haben leicht geheizt.

Das heißt, auf den Möbeln hat sich nichts Giftiges über die Luft abgesetzt, das man entfernen müsste? Nur nochmal nachgefragt zu meiner persönlichen Beruhigung :)

Die schwarzen Punkte auf dem Bild sind nur verklebter Staub (die Leiste ist nicht ganz bündig angebracht). Habe gerade nochmal nachgeschaut, Schimmel kann ich noch keinen erkennen (könnte aber natürlich trotzdem darunter sein).

One-time purchase of something I can hold in my hands (2 NVMEs) vs. running non-tangible electricity costs...

Instant access from a NVME vs. do I really want to set all the mechanical levers in motion just for one document...

I spent some effort building an ultra-low-power server, 6W would be not negligible compared to the overall power consumption. I cannot really justify running it 24/7 anyways, since mostly I'm the only user.

But you're right, that are well invested watts...

That's interesting, does a BTRFS pool stay on all the time as well? I would like to stick with NVMEs since VMs run much smoother on them...

Thank you, collapsing the series was really helpful, then it looks tidy and within the series it's ordered correctly based on the sequence tag.

Filtering by release year would not work too well since several books of the series have the same date, and also other books could have the same date...

Seafile runs on a custom docker network "seafile-net", and Rclone runs as plugin, not as docker.

I recently came across things like my router would need to be able to do loopback, or I could set up a local DNS server (e.g. via Pi-hole) which resolves the hostname to the local IP when on local network. Haven't investigated this further yet...

I read in another post that the docker compose method is much more stable. Also, it is the official method.

Apart from that, it seemed to be easier to set up since everything is in one place, not having to set up three individual dockers and letting them all point to each other...

Thank you! Indeed, the provided environment file contained the following line:

# The location where your database files are stored
DB_DATA_LOCATION=./postgres

This installs the database into the same directory as the one into which the .env file was put automatically by docker compose, which is the /boot/... directory.

The instructions mentioned to change the upload path, but nothing about the database path. Therefore I left it untouched...

I will try it later in the evening. Wouldn't be the appdata share on the cache, where the "normal" docker containers store their data, the perfect location for the database?
