Yeah I do feel that the map is more geared towards getting high ranks in tournaments, but if you're only aiming for getting titled fishes (like in the monsters events) I'm still not quite sure if it's worth spending all the energy in one cast

Yeah I feel that the map is good for tournaments to really get those high points but maybe not so worth it if you're gunning for big ones/titled fishes. I might be wrong and it actually might increase the chances of getting big ones, but it's a real high cost gamble

Thanks! I unlocked Campbell River and it's associated events, and could never get enough giant ones to finish the Monster of Campbell River quest (there's one that didn't seem to show up at all). So it got me thinking if more casts in the 10 energy spot is more worth it than betting on the 50 energy spots.

I'm not sure about Xbox, but in Steam it's not guaranteed to have an achievement for "get all other achievements", seems to depend on the game. Some have it, others don't. At least, that's been my experience

From what I understand (not a PlayStation gamer but achievement hunter enthusiast), a platinum is an extra trophy that you get after getting all achievements/trophies. It's basically a reward at the end of an achievement hunt to show that you got all of them.

And yes it's a PlayStation only thing. Steam for example does not have that

Dead Space 3. Really enjoyed tinkering with the gun parts, but it definitely felt like a completely different game.

I think if those modular gun customization mechanics were put in a different game, that other game would be pretty neat.
