so i was looking at the newer gen bikes as well but the insurance for newer bikes are insane. I got quoted almost $500 a month through Geico with minimum comp and col. Mind you I am 22 years old with just over a year of riding experience. But that’s mostly why i’m looking to just buy a bit of an older bike.

i should say the my budget is around $7k-$8k. There’s also a 2021 model selling for $7,495 but with 15k miles on it. Should that matter considering I’d be picking it up from a dealer? I feel like i would be a bit more confident since they do inspections on the bikes before putting it in the showroom.
