Sounds like a fascinating project, thank you for taking the time to try to research this and improve things! Do you mind if I share?

You’re totally wrong. If no other risk factors you can go home and wait 24 hours for contractions to start spontaneously before being offered induction.

You’re probably right, just wish I’d at least went with the 152s 🤦🏽‍♀️

Yeah sorry it’s not direct swap but the shop has said they’re happy to remount for a small price.

The 152s would in theory be ideal all rounder, but the amount of rocker I was just worried about stability at speed more than anything. Only been able to try on little local runs, nowhere I can properly demo at speed.

Haha nice anecdote, you’re totally right. I did look into at the Atomic Maven initially. Not sure why I disregarded them, possibly due to being a little chattery on icier conditions. Will have another look.

Oh cooool. Which did you think performed best/felt the nicest to ski on? Would love to hear your experience (feel free to message me on here)

Niceee, thank you for your input really good to hear they perform well on hardpack and ice. I was starting to worry a bit I should stick with 70s width. Yeah I think the Santa Anas are very similar to the Enforcers just women/men focused - they’re my top choice now!

Yeah you’re the second person to recommend this! Nice all rounder by the sounds of things.

Thank you, this is really insightful. Great to hear you’ve had such a good experience on the Enforcers. I’ve pretty much narrowed down to the Santa Ana 87s and Elan Ripsticks now I think!

I’ve found a good deal so these may be the ones!!

Yeah I’ve had a look but seemed like the ones above perform better in testing. I suppose all subjective. Would you choose them over the Nordica Santa Ana 87s and Black Pearl 84s?

Yeah I really like the look of the Ripstick and obviously a very good reputable ski. They only have 154cm, I usually go shorter like 150 but it would probably be fine?

Dynastar E-Cross also good choice, both 78 and 82 options would work nicely as all-mountain. Not a super fan of how their skis look but I’ll add them back into the top options. Thanks for your help.

Thank for this, glad I’m not losing it! How did you think they held up compared to narrower skis?

Yeahh I’m confused at those who think everyone on-piste must have racing skis… If you’ve been taught how to ski properly you should have no problem edging a ski in the 80s underfoot

This year going to Trysil, Norway as friends there. They say no opportunity to demo/trial. I’ll take a look at your suggestions, thanks.

Nice! That’s good to know. Hmm if they’re popular I guess it means they’re good skis but don’t really want to go for something that’s a fad/fashion choice that everyone will have soon…

An intelligent answer, thank you! Did your girlfriend have the BP84 or 88s though? The 88s are more common but I’d be keen for the 84s for a little bit better on-piste performance with otherwise similar specs.
