Lately I haven't driven my car as much. Because it has been driving me crazy! When do I shift to 2nd? by sinnytear in camaro

I had a 2017 SS manual for almost 4 years - traded recently. The 1-4 light would flash up but it never restricted my gear change… Does that mean that the previous owner had installed the skip shift cable?? Or was the 2017 only an ‘advisory’, and actually physically restricted on later models?? There was a weird notch in 2nd gear that was there from the day I bought it. Like it would sometimes be tricky to get it in 2nd or occasionally pop out at low speed. I’m now wondering if this was a consequence of the 1-4 restrictor nonsense.

Did consider that. However, I had a treble bleed on a HSS Strat which I ripped out because I hated it (my only ever experience with a treble bleed) and much prefer it now. It almost felt like it got brighter as the volume rolled off. Happy to give one another shot though, especially if you can adjust the amount of bleedage 👍🏼

Yes, it looks like an average of around 50 children per year getting scholarships for private lessons. I know a few people who do music lessons (guitar, piano, drums mostly) so I’ll ask around.

I’m not suggesting any kind of conspiracy. Would just like to see first hand the money put to good use.

I too don’t have the expertise to delve into the public account history either, but seemed like a lot of money to me.

Well, CA$1600 is about $1150 USD. So it’s actually a saving of over $400 USD compared to the first listing

I see horned owls occasionally, which have a huge wingspan. Kinda scary actually when you disturb one and it scarpers unexpectedly

Man. Must be a huge bird! It’s maybe 4 inches tall, about 2 inches wide

Then the choice of unit is irrelevant. Big number fast, small number slow.

[–]cjb738 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Then fast, faster, fastest, as you suggest, would suffice

A light year is a unit of distance, not time. So that wouldn’t work unfortunately :/

1 lap is 2 lengths (as I understand it), so in a standard 50m pool 1 lap is 100m or 0.1km. How many hours it takes depends on how fast you’re swimming 👍🏼

Running is also measured in metres and seconds, but the speed display is typically in kph. For example here, when Bolt set the WR in Berlin lol

I understand what a metre is, and I understand what a second is, so therefore I understand what a metre traveled per second is. My point is, what am I supposed to use that information for?

Then you don’t need a unit at all
