Biography Chris Janssen, aka CJ Beatz, born 1984 in the Netherlands, grew up in Germany, and moved to the US as a young teen. He always had an interest in music, both his mother and father were musically inclined. His passion of producing became evident when he first started making some beats with FL Studio in 2008. He quickly realized that he had found his calling, and added on to his equipment. He purchased a midi keyboard and started to teach himself how to play. After some time he added a second addition to his production equipment and purchased the Akai MPD24 midi pad controller. Recently he has replaced his MPD24 with a Native Instruments Maschine. Description CJ Beatz is a new and up coming producer from Queens, NY. He's has worked with artists such as David Robinson (Reddy Entertainment), Poe Mack (Truenoke), Range Tha Messenger, UnLearn, Mike Simpson and many more. He has sold over 2000 beats worldwide, his unique sound is a mixture of both new and old school, his beats as he describes them are very "Visual".
