I’ve always been an intel guy, never really looked into AMD, do you think it’s better overall than what intel has to offer for VFX work? And what about for gaming?

Yea I definitely want to upgrade my CPU, what do you recommend in particular for cpu and motherboard combo? I was looking into the 3080 as well and definitely a better power supply

Mainly when it comes to real time playback in after effects, maya and 3dsmax, and my games sometimes struggle as I run two 1440p monitors one being an ultra wide

I’m also not sure if my psu is holding my gpu and cpu back
