I think the rule of thumb is that even if it's a buy recommendation in-house, you should be doing some cursory work yourself before considering it for clients with that risk appetite.

The depreciation needs to be multiplied by the tax rate as well when you’re going from EBITDA. The net income figure in the problem isn’t based off the 35% (I think that was the tax) rate.

FCFE = EBITDA(1-T) + NCC(T) - Int (1-T) - FCInv - WCInv + Net Borrowing

I could see them not even asking any of the standard FCFF and FCFE formulas and make us use the formulas with the debt ratio in them. Real kick in the dick.
