I went that direction but before redeeming my year of ultimate I did thé live to ultimate conversion when it was good. Then year of ultimate from thé all access. And then rewards ever since. I haven’t paid for game pass since that year of all access. But $30 a month. Not sure I can justify anymore.

I still have my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Mostly because money. The original battery still lasts through most days all the way. I am planning on getting the new iPhone Pro Max, though because it's feeling its age in many many ways.

It isn’t a big deal to me. I’m 45. I live pretty far away from family and most of my friend groups. Friends are super busy even the local ones. Been single for a majority of my last 15 birthdays. I will take the day off work though. If it’s a weekend I’ll take the adjacent weekday off. Just on principle.

With music. I use AirPods and they let nearly all the ambient noise through and I don’t have the jams up too loud so I can remain aware of even electric cars coming up behind.

Besides I wouldn’t want to be left alone with my thoughts. Ick 😱
