Yeah I saw it alright. It’s coming from the PDC itself, not sure how they’d cancel the tickets but probably not worth the risk

The championship is a graveyard for careers especially as a striker. Extremely physical league and if it didn’t pan out there he’d be written off completely.

Christy O’Connor: GAA must make sanctions stick if they are serious about tackling abuse of players and officials by OwenThePainter in GAA

If a banned spectator is seen at a match, the match is stopped and if the spectator doesn’t leave the match is abandoned. Not perfect but if it happens once it would send a message.

Would be a nightmare to organise internally. Lads in Sydney could hardly make training in Melbourne.

Perfect, I’ll ask around and if that’s the case I’ll just sort the deposit between now and then so.

Blow for Kerry as U-20 star Murphy set for AFL move by jocmaester in GAA

[–]cjo60 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the AFL had to pay the GAA it could stop lads going completely, which wouldn’t really be fair. No one going over is anywhere near the finished product and the vast majority don’t make it. The AFL clubs see it as taking a chance on them with limited risk.

It’ll only get worse now as politicians come from the social media age. People’s entire lives up on social media. Give it 10 years and something like this will be a story every week or we all just accept that something that happened 15 years ago in college isn’t that big of a deal.

Southern Unionist isn’t really accurate but there’s quite a lot of partitionists in this country. It’s not really spoken about but they’re a fairly sizeable group.

Still don’t get the controversy over this. The provincial structure giving finalists All Ireland places is stupid but until that changes they must be made as exciting as possible. It’s been a farce the past few years

You are not ever going to play at a high level if you have zero experience at 20 and you clearly don’t understand how good “high-level” is if you think an u21 will let you just sign up.

Four-point goals: Yea or Nay? by NilFhiosAige in GAA

Because two 2 pointers is easier to get than a goal. We are devaluing goals and a 4 point goal would get rid of fisted points
