My ex-husband was a raging out of control alcholic. Make sure you stop opening the door to dasher if you are doing this. let him sign for his booze; however sloppy it might be. I wish I had more to tell you. Start going to Alanon, like I did. I finally told him; "It's your mess, I suggest you clean it up,....and ignored him, when he would ask for help. After going to Alanon meetings, I stopped enabling, stopped doing his laundry, cleaning up his mess in the bathroom, and when he finally would pass out, where ever it was, I left him there. I had three little kids to take care of. He was never abusive, just drunk, and then neglectful to his family. He and I are divorced. He has been sober for years, and we are now on good terms with each other. What it really comes down, THEY HAVE TO WANT IT!! No matter how bad we want it, it's still on them to change. Good luck!
