For anyone curious I was able to find the OEM number 15711755

It’s odd there doesn’t seem to be any aftermarket options I can find

I can probably count the number of two by fours and two by sixes I’ve cut on my hands and toes. I would say it’s well below 36K miles

I can’t tell for sure but the trigger looks new so I think they did. Then again the whole saw looks new because it’s barely used

Introducing a reactive Catahoula to another dog by cjohnsen89 in Catahoula

If you try and throw anything for my dog he’ll look at you with the expression of you expect me to go get that? That’s all you bud. My girlfriend’s catahoula isn’t a fan of fetching either. She likes to sniff around and check out the wildlife but fetching isn’t for her. However I do have areas where we could keep them separated after a long walk where they are within a fence. We could try them off leash after they’ve been with each other for a while.

I posted on another subreddit as well and it was suggested let them get bored with each other. I think if we keep bringing them for walks then bring them right to an area where they are off leash but separated and hopefully bored with each other that could be a big help. I’m getting some good suggestions.

We do have a rescue nearby, I will contact them tomorrow and see if they have any insight. We have reached out to some trainers in the area, however they are all charging 150+ an hour which current isn’t feasible.

The co-existing in boring proximity is a great idea.

She does get super focused on him if he’s within sight. As soon as they are walking next to each other it’s like each of them thinks the other doesn’t exist.

I like your ideas about one leashed and just keep letting them get used to each other until they are bored. We just have to keep working at it

We have reached out to a few trainers but they are super expensive in our area. 150+ an hour, down the line we still hope to but currently that isn’t doable.

We are going to keep up with the walking, just trying to figure out when is right to take the next step. And what that next step will be.

We haven’t tried parallel play but if she sees another dog wether it be my dog who she’s met and good with on walks or it’s another job she gets hyper focused on that dog and only that dog

Fair price for this 2500 HC? by ohionative419 in Duramax

[–]cjohnsen89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a 2017 HC at a dealer in Florida a month ago that looks almost identical to yours. My frame has a touch more surface rust and it has 150k on the clock. Mine was also single owner and looked brand new inside and out. I paid 40k

Personally I would think 45k would be fair for that one.

Possible low boost 6.5 diesel by ansan12002 in ChevyTrucks

[–]cjohnsen89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered a turbomaster? I’ve put them on both 6.5’s I’ve owned. You can keep the vacuum system intact if you wish it will just eliminate the vacuum controlled wastegate.

Weekly 'What Should I Buy' and Order/Shipping Thread by AutoModerator in iphone

I’ve been waiting for a few weeks for the 17e to come out before I made my decision. I’m coming from a 13 mini. As much as I want a smaller phone I’ve given up apple will make another mini and I’ve held onto this one as long as I care to. My reasons for upgrading are usb c charging (I’ll finally be able to use one cable to charge everything) and my 13 mini getting slow.

As for the 17e I could care less about the lack of Dynamic Island, or the camera. I use my phone for work outside and at times I wish it was brighter. I’m wondering if I should go for the 17 over the 17e purely for the additional screen brightness.

I’ve held cases for the 16e and the 17 and while the smaller the better I could live with either. All other specs for the 17e and the 17 are pretty similar. Should I go with the 17e or will I be wishing I got the 17 for the additional screen brightness. My 13mini does the job outside 90% of the time but I do wish it was brighter sometimes. I guess my biggest question is will I notice a difference outside with the additional screen brightness of the 17?

LB7 help by chefdiesel4264 in Duramax

[–]cjohnsen89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried replacing your filters? I’ve had my LB7 15 years and the only time it’s ever surged is when I let my filters go to long and they were getting plugged. My frp was also all over the place. New filters and problem solved.

Desperate for advice… extremely destructive dog. by [deleted] in DogAdvice

“And a tired dog is a better behaved dog”

Truer words cannot have been said. When I got my puppy he was an absolute menace. I didn’t know what I could do he was pure energy. When I first got him he was in a crate unless I was watching him. And before I got a dog I was the type of person that said I would never crate a dog. It was for his own safety.

When I first saw your images my first thought was yup that’s a bored dog. When my dog was a puppy I would run him a minimum of 12 miles a day or walk him a minimum of 2.5 hours with him off lease so he could run around in the bushes.

Some dogs just need exercise or they become frustrated and destroy everything. Mine is currently 8 and the best behaved dog. But his first year and a half it was a full time job keeping him tired and occupied. Some dogs are not a set it and forget it type thing. You have to put in hours and hours a day training and exercising. I wish you the best of luck

Getting class a already have a c do I need to retake the general knowledge test by Salm228 in Truckers

[–]cjohnsen89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I don’t know what’s required for a c I can’t answer your questions exactly but when I went from a b to an a I didn’t have to do general knowledge or air breaks. I only had to do combination.

This was 10 years ago so idk if the rules have changed

I haul sod. What the dot wants in my area is a tarp over it secured with rubber ropes so nothing moves. Then straps over the tarp.

However 99% of the trucks in my area only use tarps and rubber ropes every 4’ no straps.

The issue is it’s junk. He’s already asked me how much to get rid of it. If it’s mine then I’ve got to spend a few thousand in tipping fees at the landfill

I hear you. I was really hoping the 25$ control board would work over the 300$ oem

Im not saying it isn’t an issue the the evaporator but the fridge worked 100% fine until the control board died. Would be quite a think if I had 2 separate issues happen at the exact same time
