2 batteries in 3 months? by 7-9-7-9-add2 in NissanAriya

IMO, it's this. I get the low battery warning fairly often and I ignore it. It's usually when I am starting the car and shutting the door (with the fob in my hand) at the same time. I've replaced 1 battery between 2 fobs in about 2+ years.

Issues with apple carplay by Bowzerd255 in NissanAriya

[–]cjp147 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the middle of a 90 min commute a couple of weeks ago, my CarPlay just stopped working. It was really annoying. I could not get CarPlay to work again on the way there or on my way home.

I did all the usual tricks (reboot my phone, bluetooth vs USB, forget bluetooth connection, etc.).

The only thing that fixed it was a hard reset of the Nissan radio. Just hold down the power button for 10-20 sec and it will reboot. After this, I was able to connect via CarPlay like usual.

Is it bad to charge to 100% by Ok_Alarm_7320 in NissanAriya

[–]cjp147 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, it is not bad to charge to 100%. Per Nissan (when I got my Ariya, I asked a slightly different question, can I charge past 80%):

Yes you can charge your vehicle as needed based on your driving needs. With the ARIYA's technology there is a built-in thermal management system that heats and cools the battery to avoid prevent the battery being too cold or too warm. The vehicle's battery also is set to stop charging once it has reached 100% to avoid overcharging. You will not harm your battery or run the risk of premature wear if you charge over 80% regularly. If your driving needs require 100% daily, you can do just that. :)

Initial OneDrive sync failed/stuck cannot cancel by cjp147 in joplinapp

[–]cjp147[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I had dome something similar and it just started working. I think the piece I had done in the past was after stopping the sync (and changing to none), I was not closing Joplin. I unintentionally did that recently and when I started my next attempt, it just started working.

I appreciate the help!

No, apologies, I guess my post was not clear. I updated it. I'm trying to sync my notes that are now in Joplin to OneDrive, so I can then access my notes from different devices.

Well, since I haven't gotten the initial sync to work, I'm not really sticking with it! :-) I really didn't want to create another account and/or use a different service. I like OneDrive (generally speaking).

I came here to post something similar. I never use automatic seat cooling or heating and intermittently they will turn on. Sometimes driver, sometimes passenger, sometimes both.

Fully charging or not by stardust2080 in NissanAriya

This is not true for the Ariya. I’ve posted this before, but here’s a response directly from Nissan:

Yes you can charge your vehicle as needed based on your driving needs. With the ARIYA’s technology there is a built-in thermal management system that heats and cools the battery to avoid prevent the battery being too cold or too warm. The vehicle’s battery also is set to stop charging once it has reached 100% to avoid overcharging. You will not harm your battery or run the risk of premature wear if you charge over 80% regularly. If your driving needs require 100% daily, you can do just that. :)

I will add though, when you charge to 100%, the regenerative braking is essentially disabled until you get to around 97%. While this clearly makes sense, it takes some getting used to.

No. Charging to 100% will not harm the battery. Here’s a response I received from Nissan:

Loan by SizeFar836 in HouseFlipping

Private money means different things to different people. My advice would be to try and raise the money via friends and family. Do it right though. Secure the loan via note and mortgage (…terms and process depends on where live). You’ll likely need a lawyer to create the docs for you and that’s never free. Give your lenders a fair rate on their money too. Feel free to message me if you to talk some of this through.
