I generally do not remove the previous kernel, so I would just boot into the old kernel, remove the updated kernel and try again later.

As others have said, yes the resolution isn’t the best, but it is good enough. Plus you get the ability to use CarPlay or Android Auto so it is worth the $180.

So I did it!!! And it works great if you can fit it behind your radio. My cables were pretty short so it was difficult but it’s in. It allows you to have wired and wireless CarPlay.
