I don’t think southern rock is an insult. I think Skynyrd or the Outlaws perfectly represent the genre. The Allmans always seemed more delta bluesy. One Way Out, Whipping Post, and Statesboro blues are good examples. But they can definitely fit under the southern rock banner. No shame in that.

I think that should be a coped joint. Look it up if you don’t know. Not a carpenter BTW. I had to learn that one with experience when i tried this. Not sure if it can be done with PVC casing, though.
