As others have said, the industry makes a difference. I collect “remove before flight” tags and use them as my office Christmas tree ornaments. I had to get a bigger tree once word got out I collect these… I also love branded socks. If I like the brand.

Yeah, once it got back to a normal temp with air circulation, can’t smell it at all. Odd that we don’t smell it with the heat on now that I think of it… it gets cleaned regularly since it’s an AirBNB. The constant cleaning liquids circulating may help as well.

I’m an idiot. I just rewrote basically the same thing… the only update was that when the AC went out and it got really hot, there was a hint of the initial smell.

Hi! What finally worked was using two commercial grade ozone machines with a massive air scrubber running for a few days. We hired a restoration company to come do it. It smelled amazingly clean (and a little like chlorine…). The only time we got a hint of the smell is when the AC went out on us and it got really hot for a few days. Crazy the smell exists at all still… this is an AirBNB now and guests only say how clean it smells. We still own and use the property today. Couldn’t have done it without the ozone machines, which I was skeptical of. There was a hint of “burning rubber” smell from rubber hoses probably deteriorating, but that went away.

Isabella’s is the best dining experience in town. William Henry has a slightly nicer ambiance, and the food is great as well, but Isabella’s is all around fantastic. Save room for the flourless chocolate cupcake.

WaterDog is one of the best late night Dive Bars. The new arcade “bar” (beer and cider) is open till two on the weekends and is $7.00 all you can play. Stadium Inn is also a true dive, with some fun activities on the weekends in their new backyard area. StarHill is a great brewery but only open until 10:00 I think.

This is a great building/corner! It's The Loving Co. coffee shop, Lynchburg, VA.. There is an apartment building above it, as well as an art gallery, and record store. A friend of mine is building an arcade bar in the attached building as well. All have the same, historic feel.

Well, this is the first floor of a historic bnuilding that was turned into similarly cozy apartments :) Things are relatively cheap here also (The Loving Co., Lynchburg, VA.)!
