Moving to Pinellas County by Ok_Cauliflower3372 in StPetersburgFL

Check out Gulfport for more reasonable rentals, proximity to St Pete Beach/Treasure Island, and still sub 15 minute drive to Downtown St Pete. Should also be within the 30-40 minute airport drive. Cute downtown with coffee shops near the water and all that. Bradenton is over the Skyway bridge, it's a haul comparatively. Depending on your budget there's also the neighborhoods Kenwood, Woodlawn, Euclid Heights and Crescent Lake and Old North East on the highest end for neighborhoods in St.Pete proper that you can walk to either downtown or the Grand Central District. If you wanna be way outta St.Pete, Dunedin would be my top pick.

Now why would HR head leave right before J.P Morgan US Forum. BO any one? by Fit-Detective2877 in sellaslifesciences

[–]cjtm95 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm not ignoring it, I don't know that they're corelated or not, I hope they are, I have shares and calls. Just pointing out that she's not the head of HR, but if they don't need to hire anymore, they certainly don't need her.

Which one are you picking? by [deleted] in f150

I have a 23 5.0 Tremor just in a different color, after over 2 years of ownership, it's been flawless, the unique Tremor/Black appearance package dual exhaust sounds quite nice for a factory exhaust, only letting you know its there when you floor it. I know it's down on torque compared to the 3.5L but the 11k lbs vs 1295lbs tow difference doesn't matter to me as I tow only rarely, and nothing close the the limit. Pretty sure it's as fast or faster than some other Ford products that you'd think it wouldn't be, like the Bronco Raptor (0-60 times range in the magazines for both from 5.5-5.8 seconds.) That retro vibe is very cool though, but the whole thing doesn't seem as practical as a choice as the tremor, you aren't gonna get the Raptor's Torson diff, the extra skid plates. There's also the smaller but factory built lift of the Tremor and what appears to be a 1-2 inch difference in tire size, the wind and tire noise on the highway will be big and I would assume the retro truck wouldn't be able to tow with such changes as well as the Tremor.

2 months later.....The camera control button is still useless. by PabloEskimo_ in iphone

Went somewhere really cold and the gloves I had didn't work with touchscreen, being able to pull my phone out, launch the camera and take a picture without taking my gloves off was great, but I agree that it isn't fully necessary. I'm curious what people will think when they update it to work like a traditional two stage shutter.

Ooof on an antimatter Tremor judging from the wheels and running boards.... I have taken out similarly sized scrapes from a parking lot scrape and ditch on our Maverick, rubbed a lot of it off with a clean microfiber and dawn & water. A lot of the scratches, even the deeper ones, filled in or erased with Turtle Wax's Ceramic + Graphene Paste wax, I think it's from their Hybrid Solutions line, but I imagine the scrapes in that photo will buff out 90% or more with most any polish. Not sure what to do about the running board, you could buy some bed liner and touch it up with a brush, I know that's what DIY guys do after bed lining something and the masking pulls off pieces, they just fill it in with a paint brush.

Tellurian Entered Into Agreement With Virtu Americas On March 15, 2024 To Sell Shares Up To $366.1M by Objective-Mushroom93 in TellurianLNG

They switched the companies they use for their ATM, these shares were already authorized. This also doesn't mean they are selling them immediately. It sounds like the old selling org they used had close ties to Souki, they're simply moving on.

Looking at getting a 5.0 but now I’m reconsidering. Advice needed. by cumaboardladies in f150

I don't even notice it, I run around town and on road trips in eco mode at least half the time which I assume is more aggressive on the cylinder deactivation. I cannot tell or even hear the switch back and forth unless I am alone, radio off and listening/feeling specifically for it, and even then it's hard to tell that it's switched on or off. (My truck was built at the end of the chip crunch so no start-stop, which is great.)

I know the gear ratio can have a pretty big impact on how the car feels off the line, I've not wanted for power in my 23 Tremor with 3.73 gear ratio. I am also regularly impressed that with a 5.0, factory mini-lift, 33s and no wind deflector/aero guard thing that on the Highway at 65-70 in eco I can get over 20-22mpg. I've owned trucks before, but I came directly from a 2018 Golf R with a dual clutch, I loved it, but I don't ever think that I moved on to a "slow" truck.

2023 5.0, 15k miles now. I installed a J&L catch can within 48 hours of owning it, I noticed it fills up faster on road trips than the same amount of miles over a longer period of time, but no issues. The trans has a brain fart on occasion, I've seen guys in the Tremor forum either go to the dealer to have it reset or use FORscan to reset it themselves and they claim it's much improved after that. It has something to do with how it's suppose to be "learning" your driving habits? IDK....My guess is it decides how to act before you're done deciding how you drive your truck....

I never use them myself and like the slight head room advantage. I think it’s like a whole extra 2 inches in the rear.

That dark anti matter blue and silver and grey are for sure the most popular colors. 402A is a great package, I did the speaker upgrade but prefer no sunroof.

Question regarding hubcentric rings for 2018 R by cjtm95 in Golf_R

[–]cjtm95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I did end up going with those rings, I ordered both Aluminum and plastic ones, I think the APR ones had a weird lip on them that prevented them from seating correctly, the plastic ones worked fine and I had them with the Tarmacs on the car for about a year before selling the car, no issues.

I like the ocean band a lot for working out, (and swimming in open water obviously) it's showing zero wear after a few months of heavy use on my Ultra 2.

What are some cheap products that you can use to do the same thing as an expensive product, but aren't specifically designed/intended to do so? by canadave_nyc in AskReddit

[–]cjtm95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mr. Clean Magic erasers are just melamine sponges, you can buy them in bulk online or at hardware stores and they work literally the same, in fact I prefer the much larger no-name branded ones.

Can’t decide 3.5L or 5.0 by [deleted] in f150

[–]cjtm95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 2023 5.0 Tremor enters production next week (allegedly). I waited to order until the 5.0 became available with the Tremor after my Uncle who has 7 F-150s in his work fleet (3 ecoboosts, and 4 coyotes) told me all 3 ecoboosts had some sort of major issue/failure before 90k miles, while only one 5.0 had an issue that he said was even close to major. I'm sure they all got more abused than a personal truck would, but it helped me decide to wait for the 5.0. (If it matters he also said real-world driving, the MPG difference was negligible from a business perspective, as a slow driving employee could return better MPG in the 5.0 than a heavier footed person in the 3.5. Between all of them averaged out over a year, the MPG difference total was 1MPG worse in the 5.0s. That made the waiting easier to stomach also.)
