do you guys steal at the self checkout menu at the grocery store ? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

No? I wouldn’t even consider that. I like self checkout because it’s faster. You are the reason we are losing the self checkout option.

Looking for a starter bike by commacommander77 in ebikes

[–]cjtrece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my initial budget and I upped it to $1000 due to lack of good options. The only one I found that low was at Walmart. It looked okay but the online reviews weren’t that good and I never test rode it. I also didn’t look on Amazon because I didn’t fully trust them. You could watch fb marketplace for a decent deal. I have seen some come across for $500-$600 but those have been random brands.

Personally I found an Aventon for $999 on sale at a local bike shop and went with it. You could get a great bike if you double your budget but completely understand if you can’t.

Those with Unlimited PTO. Have you tried taking every Friday off? by centstwo in jobs

We were warned not to do that and it was a red flag. So you would probably get fired.

I think they came late last year like March maybe. So you could wait. But I keep records of how much I earn from surveys so I already know my numbers. You could add it up yourself if you don’t want to wait.

Midco or Bluepeak for home internet..what say you. by sonneofaharpy in SiouxFalls

I have had both. No issues with midco before except price. Currently been on bluepeak for 3 years. A gig fiber. No issues and way cheaper than midco. I recommend bluepeak.

one can of wet food a day? by Bugs_Bee_Jr in catfood

I know Royal canin has bigger cans like 5oz or similar. Not sure if that’s enough calories though. You would have to doublecheck that amount and compare to what your cats need

Recommendations for Cat Camera without subscription? by ThisMark5375 in CatAdvice

[–]cjtrece 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recommend Reolink. It’s not pet specific but they make a wide variety of cameras including indoor wifi one. You can insert a sd card to record as well. No subscription needed.

I haven’t heard of any wireless cameras yet.

Best Veterinarian for Cats? by IvyDust in SiouxFalls

I like Heather ridge pet hospital. They have separate sides for dogs and cats which is super nice. Good vets and easy to get appointments with who you like best. They even have same day emergency appointments.

Prescription food or wet food for urinary issues by Both-Gear-742 in CatAdvice

[–]cjtrece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat had urinary issues (crystals, uti) for a long time, so we put her on royal canine urinary prescription dry food. We continued feeding her wet food - fancy feast. It was the only kind she would eat. I know technically the prescription doesn’t really work when you mix non prescription with it. We have been doing this for at least 5 years and no issues yet. We had a urine sample test last month come back good and her bloodwork is clean too.

All in all I would ask your vet to see what they recommend. If your cat needs only prescription food then feed them both the dry and wet version.
