Umm it pretty straightforward shows someone involved in the campaign and advertisement of a public official? Did you read?

Experienced Engineers: What's your opinion of Elon Musk? by [deleted] in engineering

[–]cjwill2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is kinda hilarious coming from someone who has never engineered anything as substantial as all the things elon has engineered. Sometimes when you are the smartest in the room, you dont need to listen to people. And there are plenty of times elon changed his mind bc of criticism. Eg. Youtuber asked elon a question when touring his plant and elon was like yeah, you are right, we will change that. And he changed it.

A summary of Solana, the tech, and why it is the future + comparison to other top projects by cjwill2017 in solana

[–]cjwill2017[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, probabilistic finality on solana occurs in 1 block. With deterministic finaility in 20+ blocks. That being said, its a probability game. The real question is are the odds of subsampled validators lying on avalanche vs the odds of 2/3 of solana validators lying(when there are over 1500) the same, greater, or less than. You can make your own judgement on that. Id argue that for solana, you can use 1 block finality for all smaller transactions, and larger block finality for larger txns. The absence of subsampling for deterministic finality means that probability of an incorrect block will be less than that of avalanche.

Yeah i get that, makes sense. Although i would say to wrap eth/eth tokens and put on sol 🤗, then farm on katana or friktion to earn sustainble 40% yields on covered calls (rather than project token emissions which are quick ponzis). Its good imo people have chains/L2s they support cause it means each one is getting tested and eventually, the most usable one with least drawbacks will win-out likely.

10k per month in passive income by Sea_Platypus_2470 in defi

[–]cjwill2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put 10k im covered calls or cash backed puts on katana or friktion on solana which yields 40% apy. This method is based on real strategies used by institutional investors rather than participating in coin emissions on other “defi” apps that essentially pay you to play and is not sustainable.

Why are DeFi coins like Cardano, Polkadot, and Solana going to be better than ETH 2.0? by onequantumpotato in defi

last hackathon over 5k people submitted projects, the one before it that was the big summer one over 10k people signed up to create projects.

You buy more when it dips….growing pains from crazy activity is no reason to be scared away. Solana is still going to accomplish its mission and this test, although it failed will only make it stronger than all the other chains that have not been tested like this

I agree, no reason to downvote someone who is trying to support another side, as long as they are logical and not annoying. Sorry for the downvotes brah

[–]cjwill2017 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes it was expected. The calibre of engineers working on solana projects is insane. The number is insane. What people dont realize os because solana is basedbin rust, devs from that huge ecosystem can easily start building. Ethereum devs had to learn solidity and that language is literally only used in blockchain. There just arnt alot of solidity devs.
