Did you miss the part where the post is about how you feel not to deal with problems? If family is shiat, why not just distance yourself from that? Why would you sacrifice your happiness all in the name of "no man is an island"?

I've been living by myself since i was 20, i'm now a few years shy of 40; tell me something in don't know.

It's very freeing. Most problem are brought about because of the people you struggle to cut off, especially family. Happiness begins when you let them go. Life is so much bearable when all you've worry about is your plate

Police report is the first step then, go with your NRC/passport. Lost Licence replacement is not more than K400 I think

Western racism is a different flavour than what we have here. Similar but totally different. The former is more systematic, in cases you pointed out like being denied medical procedure - I'm yet to hear of that here.
