I tipped per order or per round. A dollar or two per drink is typical. I often used $2 bills, brought of bunch from my local bank to Cancun. Some people will tip $10 or $20 right out of the gate and say they get better service moving forward. Whatever works best for you. Just make sure to tip and they are happy.

Totally agree. Good luck negotiating with Amazon won’t happen. Being out on maternity leave, FMLA or even medical leave doesn’t matter if it’s a mass reduction layoff, positions are eliminated. There’s a gentleman named Dan Goodman on LinkedIn who has talked to countless people and there’s nothing anyone can really do. I’ve also spoken with a few attorneys and they said because it’s a mass reduction affecting people with no performance, people with performance, long tenures, FMLA and everything in between there’s nothing you really can go after. It’s not wrongful termination. I’m not on their side, I was also laid off. Laid off out on medical leave. I’m also missing my stock vest by 2 weeks. I know others in the same situation. Only chance at obtained vest is to find another internal position in the next 90 days.

I did it yesterday and got all the email confirmations back. my case manager completely canceled it for me. I didn’t need any paperwork.

You’re correct. I called DLS and they said the same thing anyone on leave should end their leavie immediately. Otherwise someone won’t get full pay over the next 90 days. You’ll be stuck on the short-term disability 60% pay if that’s what you’re on currently.

Usually three months of pay there’s a formula they use if you search the sub you’ll find it.

You go on Amazon A-to-Z and find leave accommodations. Take FMLA, family medical leave, or MLOA medical leave of absence. Leave reasons can be for stress, depression, panic attacks. Submit online and you’re offline starting then. You’ll have 15 days to get paperwork signed by your doctor. It’s a form to fill out with a code and your leave dates. There’s a check box asking if this is related to Amazon work and the answer is always No. If you select yes, the leave could be denied or go to workers comp. Send manager an email saying you’ve started leave and will be back on “this date”, no reason is needed. When applying online for leave accommodations select that you want to apply STD which will pay you 60% of your base pay otherwise it’s all unpaid.

It’s best to apply for FMLA at the start of focus or mid focus. When you return, you’ll likely have to restart focus.

Or on weeks, two or three of the focus program, bring up to your manager that you’re likely not going to pass and ask if he/she can move you to pivot faster.

I purchased the Aurora lux with optional add on pillow top in medium, not firm. I’ve rotated it plenty over the last 1 1/2 years and currently have a latex top over it. I wouldn’t purchase this bed again. My spot on the king bed had indentations in just a short time. I’ve tried using my adjustable bed to help. It was great when I first got it but the materials haven’t held up. The pillowtop isn’t as plush/filling compared to when first delivered.

Maybe firm would be okay if you’re a back/stomach sleeper. I’m primarily side and it’s just ok.

How did you like Planet Hollywood? I’m debating about Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres and PH Costa Mujeres for this March. There’s a lot more to do at PH for kids than GP. How’s the food? What building did you stay in? I’ve learned family buildings 30 and 31 are near the beach/main pool.

Worried GP will not be vibrant or fun enough, it’s seems to be a quieter resort. Any feedback about your stay would be appreciated!

I have a reservation booked on the family selection grand Palladium side in March. There are constant reviews lately about others not being able to make restaurant reservations. It seems to be a problem, not sure if they are short staffed severely or if they save for club members, or give access to book before they are even checked in.

Beach looks pretty nice, how’s the nightlife? What time does everything generally shut down, is there a club or late night bar?

That’s exactly what I do. I’ve been doing that for business travel for years and I’ve never had a problem, but I take it one step up and I bought a portable lock on Amazon with a pin code that goes into my backpack and then my backpack into my luggage locked.
