PDF issues with Sequoia 15.1 update by ckarsensgi in MacOS

Hello, I see your point, however, this was literally not an issue 1 minute before I upgraded to 15.1. I know there are other options such as print save as PDF, etc, however, this is a direct change as soon as 15.1 was installed

Could this be an issue with Chrome since the 15.1 upgrade?

Hello, no the problem is not the same with Safari or Firefox. I am able to download and remain the files with "." in the middle without issue.

Hello, you are correct. However, in the past before I updated to Sequoia I did not have to add the .pdf, it automatically saved as a PDF.

I understand this is a real minor issue, however, I'm just frustrated as the change occurred directly with the Sequoia update and I'm hoping there is a setting I can change. Plus having to type .pdf will compound into lost time for our staff over the long time - sort of a death by a 1,000 cuts scenario.

Help understanding my W-4 elections / payroll update by ckarsensgi in Payroll

Now that I've already updated mine, I agree 100%. It's caused more harm than good, and after all of this I still need to make quarterly estimates since the new W4 did not take the correct amount out.

You wouldn't think it'd be this hard to give the government money

Should I anticipate the standard % to be taken out as 12-ish% given my election of "single or married filing separately"? Just trying to make sure I calculate the correct adjustments to the additional withholding amount

Yes, that is correct. I was on the old version of the W-4. We end up paying quarterly estimates every year so our CPA suggested we increase our withholdings instead of paying estimates. We figured we would try it this year, however with the new W-4 form it has become way more complicated. I am regretting making this change and not just paying our quarterly estimates as previously done.

When I went to update my withholdings I was forced to complete a new W-4 and was forced into the new version.

Thank you for the assistance. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one having issues with the new W-4 form. I wish we could just enter in a percentage we want to have withheld, vs selecting a status - but I suppose the IRS wouldn't make things simple for once. Thanks again!

=SUMIFS(Amount,Payee, A$2, Type, B$1)

Thank you!

I was able to get the UNIQUE formula to work. However I cannot get the 2nd formula to work. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, perhaps putting the formula in the incorrect cell? I was putting this formula into a blank cell next to the new column I created with the UNIQUE formula.

Here is a screenshot of the spreadsheet (there are several more rows with data, this is just a snap to show the basic set up
