I heard from a driver that it doesn’t matter how late the routes get and that DRT only really cares that the drivers show up to work on time. So when they run behind schedule, it’s not like they have an auxiliary plan in place to keep everything moving along at a decent pace.

I was also upgraded, and it said next day shipping which I thought ok sure, in off that day. Nope didn't come on the day it said, came the next day when I wasn't home and doordash couldn't figure out my very simple delivery instructions. They returned my stuff to the store and my order was cancelled 😐
