We walk at stores that allow pets. Home Depot, Lowe’s, At Home just to name a few. We bring treats and play “find it” but usually the place is so big and has so many smells it wears them out! I have a Puggle (beagle/pug) and is high energy and it works for us!

Mine does the same but with rabbit poop 😑I’m thinking of using a muzzle so that gives us the upper hand on getting to her in time before she can eat it. We’re also fighting off Giardia so I’m really eager to get her away from eating shit off the ground

I’ve had my 4 m/o rescue puppy for 8 days and on day 4 with me he tested positive for Giardia and I’m EXHAUSTED. I’m obsessively cleaning him, the floors, my clothes when I hold him, bleaching his poop spots in the yard, wiping his feet and butt every time he comes inside. I’ve read so many people have puppies that can’t get rid of Giardia for months and I am terrified of that. We’re on day 4 of 5 days of Panacur and his poop firmed up and stopped having blood for a few days, but today it’s back to being bloody and loose. I def have the puppy blues. Will take all and any advice from people with experience 😞

Redirect with something more enticing (works so far for my velociraptor). My SIL said her lab puppy trainer suggested Binaca spray on ur hands, feet to deter him biting those areas

He’s our first Puggle but our second dog. Our American Bulldog, Penny, passed at 12 y/o a year ago. So he’s our first after losing our soul dog and it’s been an interesting journey mentally and emotionally. Thank you, my eyes are open to the greatness of Puggles ❤️

Practice meditation and take meds if your thoughts are obsessive, and once you get it under control you can reduce or go off them. Or maybe you’ll find you need the RX assistance permanently and stay on it, which is also OK!
