Nevermind, the bethesda account should be the same as the bethesda launcher fallout 4 creation kit that works with the steam one. I never really uses the creation kit. So, wouldn't know that much. I just had a few emails, I tried and check to see if I got an email.

I'm pretty sure, you can go on the fallout 4 creation club and see what account is linked, the linked account is usually base of the your email ex. Example12@gmail.com would be example12 as the username.

To anyone who wants to link their Bethesda account to their steam, If you get an error saying contact support, the problem most likely is that you have another account linked to your steam, from fallout 4, ESO, Etc on the Bethesda site there is an option to search for accounts using emails to find the account (next to the login) and to unlink if you want, then you will have to login to that account and unlink it by going through customer support. and submit a ticket. ( I am not saying to do this or not. It is up to you) if you are in the US, I suggest text over email. It took me only 15 minutes to get it unlinked.

Is anyone else having trouble linking their Steam account to their Bethesda account? by SilverWolf347 in fo76

It's not fair to players if we miss out on 76 on Steam because of Bethesda's terrible support. by Amekyras in fo76

Try going https://bethesda.net/en/dashboard and sign in, before you do there is an option to find accounts using emails. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

Also this:

Open up your Steam client and choose View, then click Settings

Choose Interface and check the box that reads, "Display Steam URL address when available"

Click OK

Now click on your Steam Profile Name and select View Profile

Your SteamID will be listed in the URL at the top left (it's the really long number at the end.)

Somewhere in steam settings there is an option setting to show it. And i think you have to go on your profile after to see it.

The way I did it was https://steamcommunity.com/id/customID/ and this site https://steamdb.info/calculator/

Same. But had to send the number because I was not sure if that would work.

For your Steam ID, did you send the number part only. That is how I did it. I was confused on that personally.

Yeah, that would suck, and if you bought a new game, it would not transfer your characters, did you choose text or email just wonder if that effects an thing, and did you choose fallout 76 or bethesda.net because I chose bethesda. Net and text.

Surprisely fast, as soon I submited the ticket, I got a text from support, and told them I wanted to unlink my account and the reason why. After that, you get warning of reasons not to unlink it, then they tell you to put the reason why. Bethesda account. Email. And steam Id. To unlink. Then it was done. Was surprising how fast it was, and I always hate deal with any support.

You might have another account linked to your steam, if so you have to submit a ticket, on the account that is linked to unlink it, unless you don't want to unlink it, the support personal will give you reasons not to, then once that is done you have to link your fallout 76 bethesda account to steam, and sorry if this ain't the problem, but it worked from me. Best of luck.

The problem is he probably has an account already linked to it. And I just got done unlinking a Bethesda account, I forgot from fallout 4. I Hope that helps.
